When I’m in really deep woods or excessive amount of mosquitoes around, I do still use the hard-core deet, permethrin or picaridin, but there’s many times you can avoid using chemicals with this natural bug spray of essential oils that is way healthier for us. Editor’s Note: I have been using Big Game Gut Glove for years, and I love these short gloves for skinning deer and field dressing turkeys. I have also used them for trapping and many miscellaneous uses. They are thick so I can be confident in my cutting, as my hands are much more protected than if wearing cheap, disposable gloves for if I do happen to have a wrong swipe of the knife.
Sizing tip – for a woman, I have pretty large, long hands so in women’s gloves I am often a size large and men’s gloves I am often a size medium. These gloves are in men’s sizes so I find them true to fit and use a size medium. See the product gallery photo for sizing measurements, but hope this helps! ~Jen
