Editor’s Note: This balm is great for post-hunting and winter skin! I’m really tough on my hands, especially during hunting and ice fishing seasons, so I started keeping this on my bedside stand to put on and rub in before going to sleep. It really does soak into your skin fast, and I enjoy the smell! I think since it has beeswax in it, to me it registers as a very light, pleasant honey-like scent. ~Jen

Editor’s Note: This is such a good everyday bug spray, and especially to wear when you don’t want to smell like bug spray! Bug Soother really smells amazing! And it works! When I’m in really deep woods or excessive amount of mosquitoes around, I do still use the hard-core deet, permethrin or picaridin, but there’s many times you can avoid using chemicals with this natural bug spray of essential oils that is way healthier for us. And it’s safe for pets! I definitely don’t feel safe enough to spray any regular bug sprays/chemicals on my dog, since he is bound to lick his hair. But with this being natural, I spray it all over his coat and it’s been a lifesaver, especially on summer hikes where deer flies are trying to bite his backside! ~Jen

Editor’s Note: I love this scentless lotion for deer hunting, but don’t limit yourself to that! I use this scentless lotion year-round! It’s especially great for wintertime as during ice fishing season, I don’t want a scented lotion for my hands, but I desperately need lotion! I also use it specifically for turkey hunting. While turkeys aren’t affected by scent, I’m wearing the same camo I wear during deer season, so I do not want to expose any of my gear with a smelly lotion. And get this – I use it on my dog! The Mud River Dixie Insulated Kennel Cover has many features that will allow your dog protection from the cold and rain, making your standard dog crate a warm, dry and comfortable place for your hunting dog. It will keep the inside of your crate 20-40 degrees warmer than the outside air temperature (depending on size of dog, working or resting dog, windows on or off, door up or down).
