Editor’s Note: I have been using Big Game Gut Glove field dressing gloves for years, and not only do I love them for protecting my hunting clothing, but also they have definitely saved me (more than once!) from a cut on my hand from my own accidental knife mishandling while field dressing. I love how thick and long these gloves are – so much better than the cheap, throwaway gloves!
Sizing tip – for a woman, I have pretty large, long hands so in women’s gloves I am often a size large and men’s gloves I am often a size medium. About the author:
R.J. Kinderman is a retired educator living with his wife, Denise, on their farm in northwestern Wisconsin. He has lived an active lifestyle in the outdoors, including twice biking across America, as well as a lifetime spent messing around kayaks and canoes, plus countless hours on cross-country skis and snowshoes.
His first book, Tailwinds across America, is an exciting memoir recounting their bike rides across our country, and at the urging of several readers, R.J. embarked on his career of writing children’s picture books that can now be found in thousands of homes.
In 2017, R.J. was the recipient of the prestigious Jade Ring Award from the Wisconsin Writers Association in recognition of his writing.
