About the author:
R.J. Kinderman is a retired educator living with his wife, Denise, on their farm in northwestern Wisconsin. He has lived an active lifestyle in the outdoors, including twice biking across America, as well as a lifetime spent messing around kayaks and canoes, plus countless hours on cross-country skis and snowshoes.

His first book, Tailwinds across America, is an exciting memoir recounting their bike rides across our country, and at the urging of several readers, R.J. embarked on his career of writing children’s picture books that can now be found in thousands of homes.

In 2017, R.J. was the recipient of the prestigious Jade Ring Award from the Wisconsin Writers Association in recognition of his writing. He enjoys the support of many educators and principals, and received the endorsement of Mrs. Barbara Bush, former First Lady, for his book Beans and Lolo’s Big Bike Ride.

Editor’s Note: I love this scentless lotion for deer hunting, but don’t limit yourself to that! I use this scentless lotion year-round! It’s especially great for wintertime as during ice fishing season, I don’t want a scented lotion for my hands, but I desperately need lotion! I also use it specifically for turkey hunting. While turkeys aren’t affected by scent, I’m wearing the same camo I wear during deer season, so I do not want to expose any of my gear with a smelly lotion. And get this – I use it on my dog! I have tried several different products to help keep burrs and stickers off my dog while hunting, and THIS is what works the best!!! Before hunting, I rub it between my hands and then run my hands over him to lightly layer it on his fur and tips of his hair. They will stretch to fit the size of your head, so we do not recommend sharing them with others, as they may stretch further than you’d like.
